The Florida Ladies Retreat on April 14-16, 2023, was a powerful and life-changing time as women gathered to seek the Lord, deepen their faith, and encourage one another. Building on the foundation of abiding in Christ, this year’s theme, “ABIDE to ARISE,” reminded us that abiding in Him equips and strengthens us to rise in obedience, faith, and purpose.

Spirit-Filled Messages That Stirred Our Hearts

We were blessed to hear from Olya Yarosh, Valentina Ablaev, and Mariyka Onischenko, who shared powerful messages rooted in God’s Word. Each session challenged us to not only remain close to the Lord but to step out in faith and ARISE to the calling He has placed on our lives. Through personal testimonies, scriptural truths, and heartfelt encouragement, they reminded us that courage is not found in our strength but in abiding in Christ.

A Conversation That Encouraged and Challenged

The discussion panel, featuring Mariyka Onischenko, Olga Kirdzei, Anna Gubenya, and Valentina Ablaev, was a deeply enriching time. Women had the opportunity to hear real and honest conversations about what it means to rise in faith, overcome obstacles, and walk in obedience to God’s call. The panelists shared personal experiences and wisdom, offering practical guidance for the challenges we face in our spiritual journeys.

Worship That Drew Us Closer to God

Worship, led by the Jacksonville team, was a beautiful time of surrender and connection with the Lord. As voices were lifted in praise, hearts were softened, and the Holy Spirit moved powerfully among us. The presence of God was tangible, filling the room with peace, joy, and renewal.

Moments of Fellowship and Growth

Beyond the teaching and worship, the retreat was a time of deep fellowship. Women from different backgrounds and seasons of life came together to share, pray, and build lasting friendships. Whether through quiet moments of reflection, late-night conversations, or laughter-filled mealtimes, the bonds formed were a reminder that we are stronger when we walk together in faith.

Rising to the Call

As we reflect on this retreat, we are reminded that abiding in Christ is just the beginning. From that place of intimacy with Him, we are called to rise—to step out in faith, to live boldly, and to walk in obedience to His Word.

We are so grateful for every speaker, discussion panelist, worship leader, all the volunteers and attendee who made this retreat an unforgettable experience. May the lessons we learned and the commitments we made continue to bear fruit in our lives.
